• Designers will agree, comments made by clients can be downright laughable. I've once had someone ask me to make an elephant sexier. That comment made me want to laugh and cry at the same time.

67. FEEL GOOD FRIDAYS

Double feature Feel Good Friday! It's already such a wonderful friday morning I figured I'd spoil you with two videos to start your weekend off on the right foot! If the heat is on and the sun is shining wherever you are, this song below will make you want to sit on a nice terrace with some pals while drinking a pitcher of perfectly cool sangria to celebrate the weekend's coming. Bonus points if you can get a conga line started.

 




I dare you not to have this song (sung by Tangerine Kitty) embedded in your head for the next couple of days! Cute whimsical characters warning you about train safety (and other things such as eating glue and using your private parts as piranha bait)? These are lessons you'll never forget. If you're as obsessed about this video as I am, there's an iPhone app game you can download where you can save them from their unfortunate fates, should you act quickly enough.

66. FOX OVER DOG

Decades later and finally showing a sign of life (to anyone who may have caught up with my blog). Made this little whimsical illustration the other day for typography fanatics.  Loved sketching the fox & pug.

Just finished these illustrations I've created for fun over the past couple of weeknights. I wanted to illustrate  some of my favourite TV characters looking into their own reflections while doing the things that makes them immoral.

64. FEEL GOOD FRIDAYS

What a busy week it's been, right? And what better way to get pumped and ready for the weekend with one of my personal favourite song-and-dance number (Gotta love Otis!) from John Hughes' classic Pretty in Pink. If you have someone who lip-sync's their heart out to you as much as Duckie does to Andy, they're a keeper. Happy Friday!

63. COFFEE & CRAFTS

A couple of weeks ago, I went out on a creative coffee date to do a little ceramic painting (combining my love of coffee and painting into one? Winning!) I made a plate with a Dia de Los Muertos skull on it. Man, I love doing crafts! Makes me feel like a kid again.

I finally had the chance to pick it up today and it already found a home in my growing skull collection (this is just a few of them).
